Friday has meaning!

Last semester Friday's were no different than any other day of the week.  I was loaded down continually and the days blended together.  Not anymore!  With my day off yesterday I feel more in control and rested.  I have handled work tasks and a large portion of my assignments.  I really hope this stays this way for the entire semester - can't hurt.

In the interim, I have utilized idle cash to pay off the remaining balance on Mortgage 2.  This is only until we receive the funds from the in-laws, but there is something so sweet that comes from a partial zero percent time.  I still have not heard from our banker about the refinance and I wonder if I will.  We received a refund from a college and I have applied that to the equity line to save even more in interest, until the funds are disbursed throughout the semester for the child they are for.

It's a good day, when the expenses drop and progress is made.

I'm not looking forward to my commute today.  Northern Illinois is expecting up to 9 inches of snow today.  Thank goodness I have decent tires this time.  I should get to school okay, but the ride home will be long. Stay warm friends!

What?! One of the mortgages is paid off?!? I must have missed something. Did you refinance with the in-laws again? I will go back and read up.

I think you'll do well with a day off during the week. I've only worked four days since my oldest was born. And although I will occasionally work from home or go in for a few hours, my life/home/sanity is so much smoother when I don't.
