I learned today from a friend (so I am happy for her) that she received the internship we interviewed for. Yet, I am really disappointed for my loss. I am even very much disappointed in the firm that I really thought was above the competition in morals and respect; because they didn't see it worthy of contacting me with a "no thanks".
Before they contacted me for a 2nd interview, I hadn't held much wait in an internship. After all, as I know most firms search colleges for young folks they can mold. Of course their interest peaked mine and allowed me to dream of a fit with their firm. Silly, silly old girl that I am. Not that it is the only reason to not select me - my prior experiences and knowledge could mandate a higher starting salary which probably doesn't fair well.
Any way - I'm feeling sad now. - Bummer. At least the slutty girl didn't get it with her plunging neckline.

I'm going to show my age now (or maybe just my social class.) Is it in style for just about everyone to wear necklines that show 90% of the chest? In my day that was tackywear.

444 - I don't care how "old" we are, it is never in style to dress in that manner at a firm. As we both know though...sex sells. Way opposite look of my slacks, blouse and vest (it was business casual - we went bowling).
