Exchanged the EASY button for a TORTURE button

Near as I can tell this has to be the culprit.  My bank which is wearing a 5 Star Rating at Bank Rate, is only functioning as a torture machine.  No one, and I mean NO ONE, can help me with anything.  I'm exhausted from reaching out to all staff members with the desperation of balanced accounts and functionality.

In hind sight, the computer glitch which wouldn't allow me to link business and personal accounts was just an annoyance to what I am dealing with still.

Giving credit where credit is due, they did adjust Mortgage #2 to adequately report interest and principal.  This makes two of my issues corrected.  However, I'm not positive that the loan adjustment will make my next payment flow smoothly.  I believe I was being appeased for the moment. This isn't a complaint though.  I would rather be appeased than ignored.

Except for the ignorant email last week questioning my wants, I've been totally ignored by personnel in regards to Mortgage #4.

After learning that the in-laws were in the market to finance our debts again and calculating the savings of a loan transfer, I knew I wanted to move money TODAY!  Who wouldn't with $5.90 minimum saved a day in the interim?  That is my monthly gas bill (average) for the house being saved monthly.  HUGE! I attempted a transfer from the equity line to our checking and the stupid site said I didn't have a
account to transfer too.  OMGosh!

This is costing me money - $5.90 for yesterday, without the immediate transfer.

This morning I wrote a check from the line and gave to hubby to deposit on his way to work.  He did as instructed and the S.O.B.'s have a hold on the deposit or it appears as so from my online banking screen.  For those that don't know, holds are placed on really large deposits until they clear to eliminate bank risk.  Generally I am okay with this, but not this time.  The money is being drawn from the same bank it is going into.  IDIOTS!  There is ZERO risk.  I emailed our 'banker' (in quotes because he must want to be, not effective at all) and he responded this morning.  The response - I'm out of the office today.

This will cost me another $5.90 today if it doesn't get solved!

You may think I am being petty with this somewhat small amount.  I don't look at that way.  I see every dollar as a wealth accumulator; in which I pay less interest, pay-off more of my debts and it rolls into more future savings.  This is my money and I am the best guardian of it.  Plus, do you realize this one small change will drop us below $30k a year in interest payments?  The burden would shrink $1.04 per hour (full-time employment no consideration for withholding/deductions) needed less than in December.

There will be even more savings in interest when we complete the self-directed refinance too.

I've been struggling intensely to determine whom I should and could contact at the bank to rectify this nightmare of costs, but I am unable to come up with an empowered person.  Boy do I hate how our small town bank became too big for it's customers.

Dealing with your bank sounds like a major hassle. It will make it that much sweeter when your loans are paid off and you don't have to deal with them any more.

Whoa, sounds like a nightmare. I've never had issues like that, but then, I don't have the mortgages that you have. It would literally drive me batty to have to put up with such incompetence. Perhaps there's something to be said for the city afterall!
