The best laid plans

Obviously the rest of the world is not as excited as I am to wrap tax matters up.  I am only able to go so far on my goals and then stop.  It is to be expected with deadlines for tax documents not till the end of the month - but most times I can work around it.  I'm just not that energetic at the moment. So, how did I do:
  • Complete the transformation of documentation for at least one business to digital FAIL!  Not sure why I didn't get this done. Oh well, today is another day.
  • Complete invoicing after making contact with my last lose end PASS!  All the way out the door!
  • Treadmill it - if even just to walk for 10 minutes PASS! I didn't hit the treadmill till after dinner but I did go for 17 minutes.  Hey, better than nothing.
  • Gather the kids W-2's, interest statements and college tax information FAIL!  I was going to utilize the college statements, but then decided to wait.  I began the returns, entering what I have, but that does not make a complete return. Plus, I have a fear that the bank will surprise me with a change after I file.
  • Complete the kids simple tax returns and gather up for FAFSA filings FAIL! I entered what I have, but two kids did not save their last payroll checks and so I need to wait for W-2's.  Bummer.
  • Begin organizing paperwork to digitalized for smaller business FAIL!  Believe it or not the above items, laundry and cooking took up my entire day.
Apparently I am a better stretch goal maker than I thought (hahaha)!  We are expecting some decent snow fall tomorrow so I am going to head out today.  I have a few cold weather meals to prepare for all that shoveling in our future, so grocery store is my goal today.  Then picking up any of the above tasks to get further along.
